So it is still a little murky but here is the latest. We should know more by Friday of this week.
No final decisions yet but it looks like the following rather lenient rules will apply to your rebuild.
1. 10% addition OK so long as Fire Dept doesn’t object.
2. Tanked water on site available as part of the rebuild application provided Fire Dept approves. No special Planning review required.
3. House may be repositioned within reason but any change, alteration or addition must comply with setbacks and remain under 18 feet in height.
4. Septic system repairs and upgrades may be rolled into the Planning review.
5. If you have the TDSF available you can add temporary housing up to 1000 sf which can be legalized as an ADU. Mind those property line and slope setbacks. Must have septic system capacity available.
